Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Josh Beech, trading as Renovatech ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Contact: josh@renovatech.co.uk, 07460 094816, 567 Wimborne Road, Bournemouth BH9 2AR.
What we collect
- Enquiry and booking details: your name, email, phone number, business name, trade, area, the services you're interested in, your marketing budget and any message you send us, when you use our enquiry form or booking calendar.
- Communications: records of calls, texts, emails and messages between us.
- Client details: if you become a client, the information needed to deliver and invoice our services.
- Website usage: information collected through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited and the device and browser used. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent. See the cookies section below.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls: legitimate interests, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To send you follow-up messages by text, email or phone about your enquiry: your consent, given on our enquiry form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
- To deliver our services to clients: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounts and meet tax obligations: legal obligation.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising: your consent, through our cookie settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector), our CRM, booking and messaging platform
- Our website hosting provider
- Email and SMS providers used to send messages
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if you consent to advertising cookies
- Payment and accounting providers, for clients
- Professional advisers such as our accountant, and authorities where the law requires it
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to.
- Marketing consent records: for as long as we rely on that consent, plus 2 years.
Data we handle for our clients
When we run advertising and CRM systems for client businesses, we process their customers' enquiry details on the client's behalf. In that case the client business is the data controller, and their own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, email josh@renovatech.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website, booking calendar and enquiry form to work. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies, such as the Meta Pixel, to measure visits and the performance of our ads. You can withdraw consent or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
